During my house spring cleaning on this year's CNY, I found some of the treasures that I had since, I think, Primary 5. It was stored right at the most bottom corner of my cabinet. I took pictures of them and I thought it was interesting to showcase my Primary 5's artwork.

That's exactly 10 years ago.

Take a look at my masterpieces back then.

Alright. It's time to let go.

Calling interested buyers!

I'm opening an auction.

Starting Bid: $300 per masterpiece :)

As of today, it has been 63 days.
It has not been easy.
Other than my current job, I've spent almost all of my remaining time on this personal project.

It has been a huge learning experience and a fast paced hands-on application.

Now, it is almost 90% completed.

This' gonna be a revolution.

zagg.com has been irritating.
This is by far one of the worst online store that I have came across.
I've placed an order for their most hot selling product -- invisible shield protector for iphone.
And that's 24 March 2009.

They claimed shipment took about 7 to 10 working days. So i waited. 12 days passed yet no news. Submitted a complaint, took 4 days to reply. Confirmed a re-shipment, till today still nothing. It has been 23 days since I placed the order.

Don't tell me the invisible shield protector........ is really invisible?
Oh god.

adobe cs4 is taking years to install -.-
blogging now while waiting for installation complete.

anyway work today is super tiring.
having meeting in the morning in design conference room.
its the first time i feel the "atmosphere" where everyone is so serious, discussing on the same common topic
i admit i'd done a little bit of dreaming about myself holding a meeting as a CEO of my company, where my workers will discuss actively together to solve problems and projects. LOL. it shall happen :)

straight after meeting rushed down to workshop.
carpentry work -.-
cut wood and assemble wood planks into cabinets
my previous time doing wood cutting and D&T stuffs is when i was in my sec 2.
its interesting =] i'm getting abit sick of office environment. lol

one whole afternoon in workshop playing around with wood cutting machines/glue/wood planks/nailer
going back to office with body full of wood chips
i smell of wood
and had to do mad call ups through phone
oh cool

okay cs4 is done :)

2008 has been a WONDERFUL year for me. [statement valid only for the month of nov and dec]

obtained driving license.
japan trip.
achieved freedom. (highlight of the year)

Interesting to say, my time is all jammed after since i obtained my freedom.
possibly its because of the clash of my ord with the school holidays
not a single day of rest in december, but life's fun. lol

wishing everyone a very meaningful and happy new year
Lets welcome 2009, my magical year. =)

shant comment much, it's only third day.

i've been running on a low harddisk space for few months.

ORD!
-10 NOVEMBER 2008

to be serious, it has been quite a long time since i felt so happy.
it's like being released from prison
i can feel the surge of freedom after the retrieval of my ic
anyway it's my first time seeing my pink ic.

the one year ten months hasnt been easy.
i know alot of pple will say i had an easy life cos of my vocation
i thought so too when i received my vocation posting, until the camp posting smashed my dream.

anyway i would like to thank those who walked together with me during my NS life
be it civilian or military personnel
utmost appreciation to everyone

10 November 2008 was a rainy day.
11 January 2007 was also a rainy day.
the 96 weeks in between are stormy days.
End of NS life.

-New phase begins

Monday, October 27, 2008

okay time has been significantly fast for this month.
i'm left with two last half days in my NSF term.
its time to pack up everything and dump inside storeroom lol
exactly 14 days left to ord =]
people, celebration time

50 laps of swim today.
mild sunburn.
swimming with weeyang is always a new experience. always.
and till today we cant figure out why it always rain when we meet. lol

economy crisis now
wall street falling, banks bursting
inflation increase, electricity increase by 21%, more ERPs, bus fares rise, taxi charges remained and even newspaper prices also increased.
salaries maintained.
the only consoling thing is that the petrol price decrease. by five cents -.- (nothing much to celebrate, reports say it will rise back soon)

i voluntarily propose to bear the 4 years university fees solely by myself
so far these years i have already been largely financially independent since J1
so this time round its gonna be one times good one. lol
i'm fully ready for this great idiosyncratic challenge
its time to rack my brains and make some daring plans

Guards Night last friday.
no.. i'm not guardsman. and i did not attend.
did marshalling -.-

and that night was one of the most weird feeling night for me. (in these 1 year 9 months)
that night will be the last time that i would see my encik.
He'd flown off to australia for exercise, and i ord before the exercise ends.
he's so far one of the best superior in bedok camp, he had given us much freedom and welfare that most soldiers would not enjoy during the nsf term.
of course, he shielded most punishments for us.
i witnessed the promotion of him from master sergeant to warrant officer.
i witnessed him doing the sai gangs personally when he had one whole lot of man under his control.
i witnessed how the arrows shot directly to him by some higher ranking officers.
i did not witness him abusing his power as HQCSM
i did not witness him flaring up at anyone (actually my colleagues saw it before, but that day i was on leave ^^)

he gave me a deep handshake and bid me farewell.
i didnt expect that he would remember that that night would be our last meeting, given his busy schedule.
the feeling was, indescribable.

Thank you, Warrant Loh.

i need ideas. tons of them!

staying at home staring at monitor screen is a good way to make you feel sleepy.
it keeps your mind locked and you cant think of anything.

yet i dont know where should i go to free up my mind and let ideas sneak in.

i'd just failed a plan. which is, i think, a demoralising failure.

Think. Ponder. Wonder. Intellect. Evaluate. Believe.

44 days! =D

i dont want to know about thomas edison failure story. i dont want to fail as many times as he did. i have no time for that.

Caught up with most of the matches this time in Beijing 2008, compared to the Athens 2004.
Impressive grand opening and closing ceremony, watched both live =]
Singapore's women table tennis matches are heart throbbing ones, every hard earned point seems like a step towards grabbing a medal. Congratulations to Singapore women table tennis (team)-- Silver :)

Today's a day for celebration.
No, not celebrating the start of hungry ghost month.
and definitely not celebrating the start of my guard duty in 7 hours time.

Today marks a significant countdown in my life.

Ladies and Gentlemen, i shall present to you:

ONE HUNDRED DAYS TO ORD

yes. One hundred. 100. 一百. Sa-ratus. சதகம. hyaku.

My civilian conversion course(CCC) lasts one hundred days, and so it will start today.
No more 3 digit days countdown after today. =D

just now during bath, i heard my neighbour singing "stand up for singapore" in his toilet.
-.-
i mean, i can understand his love for Singapore.
but the way he sang, made me laugh till i need to squat down.
to show my support i danced around in my bathroom with his singing. with my bathroom waterworks.
Childish.
but it's fun, it reminds me of my childhood days playing with water.

i'm 20.

okay its time to update. was having a busy week after the japan trip, and yesterday was serving guard duty.

Let's skip nonsense, i'll go straight to the highlights of the trip. :)

The 10 days in Japan has been an extremely tiring one. We overslept every single day, credits to weeyang who is able to pull himself out of bed to screw me and lertong up.

Day 1

Gathered at the aiport at around 9pm. Excitement overwhelmed.

Our A380 flight. Photo taken in Narita Airport. Didnt sleep much on plane--watched 2 movies

Yokoso Japan :)

We took keisei skyliner to our 1st destination-- Asakusa.

Kaminari-mon Gate

Ryokan Toukaisou, our first night stay

Off for the Sumida river tour, down to the Tokyo city.

Our dinner set. In a standing restaurant

A bicycle taxi. its something like a trishaw, except that the driver cycles

Toyko Tower

From Tokyo Tower we walked to Ropponggi Hills--the high class night life area of Tokyo.

Moved on to Rainbow Bridge. Didnt get to go up, cos the lift operation ended at 9.30pm-- we're late. but managed to get some good shots from the base

The first day was one of the most tiring day. Had been walking non-stop since we stepped out of plane. Even the dinner was in a standing position. The sleep in the ryokan was, of course, perfect. Japanese futons are nice. lol

Day 2

Akihabara--- The Electric Town

take a look at how many sim lims here

Japanese girls giving brochures are everywhere on the streets--very different from those aunties who stuffed brochures to your hands on escalators of sim lim square

Lunch: Japanese Curry

The japanese curry is sweet and creamy, not spicy at all. To add spice you have to add grinded chilli to your meal, and thats what lertong do most of the time. lol

Ginza---Grandiose shopping districts

two guys strolling on a Ginza shopping district---doesnt seem so right.

Sony Building. We participated in a game which requires us to tour the whole building... and receive a free bag. lol

Ikebukuro night

Our dinner for tonight. Soba and tonkatsu. Super tasty

Takopachi

Pachinko arcades.

Day 3

Tokyo Dome

Budokan - weeyang's favourite spot

i couldnt remember eating this. hmmm

Shibuya

Meiji Shrine

A long walk to the shrine

My wishes

Takeshita Street, Shibuya

Day 4

Woke up at 5am. The earliest of all. Rushed to catch the morning action of tsukiji fish market

Tsukiji Fish Market

Big sized.

Fleshy

Awesomely big. Look at it-- size of a styrofoam box

Fishes eyeballs

Puffer fish! Deflated.

Its finger lickin' good.

Our breakfast =]

Rushed back hotel to check out, moving towards Shinjuku city.

Tokyo Shinjuku Metropolitan Government Building

Bird's eye view of Toyko city.

Our lunch for today -- Noodles with lots of vege.

Takashimaya, Shinjuku

Isetan

Day 5
Day 4 and 5 are mainly shopping days. Day four in Shibuya, Day five in Shinjuku.

Mister Donuts

Bento for lunch

In Japan their Macdonalds are wonderful. Everything above cost 100yen each. Including famous shaka chicken, milkshake and their Mcpork. i think we had at least 3 shaka chickens each in these 5 days. lol

Off to Osaka by nightbus.

Sayonara, Tokyo.
Yokoso Osaka!

9:27 PM

Day 6

Shintennoji Temple

Osaka City

=]

Day 7

Nara Park

Nara Deers

munch munch

they're everywhere

Okonomiyaki =]

Day 8

Osaka Aquarium

say cheese :)

Penguin parade!

Handsome.

king of the sea

puffer fish! huff puff

dancing crab!

Namba

Day 9 & 10

Nothing much on day 9. In and out of shopping malls

The last night in japan. unloading and repacking luggage. headache

Kansai International Airport

last meal in japan. sayonara meal lol

Goodbye Japan.

That sums up 10 days in Japan :)
Freaking fun, remarkably memorable =)
Success, Project Narita!

I'm going tokyo and osaka tonight =]
with lertong and weeyang

Project Narita is the name that we've named for this trip
and all these months had not been easy.
Planning, booking tickets and accomodations online, choosing dates and all sorts of administration
i must admit i contribute the least to the planning of this trip, cos of my busy schedule
but these 2 wonderful friends of mine have organised everything perfectly =)

okay gotta go. luggage is not done yet -.-
will be back on 7th july =]

YOKOSO JAPAN!

In life, we aim to accomplish as many wishes as we could. Earn lots of money. Be financially wealthy and stable. Get your ideal partner. Have a grand wedding. Buy ideal house and car. Stay in contact with as many friends as possible. Maintain every friendship. Attend gatherings and cohesions. Be filial to parents. Receive promotion/bonuses in company. Gain boss' trust. Travel around world. Invest and expand business. Be a millionaire.

So many things to do in life. So many things to achieve. All in your lifespan. Take the national's average lifespan. 80 years old. 20years old now, none of the above was achieved. None. And i'd just wasted one quarter of my life.

I'm ashamed of myself.

Even the simplest of all --- Attending friends gatherings/ cohesions, i've failed. Not once, but alot of times. And it tracks all the way back to secondary one, to now.

I hate my busy schedule. This's the thing that is affecting and obstructing my current life. It destroys my future plans. It adds zero value to my future. There's no turning back, i've chosen this path. I guess that leaves me to one last option. Time management. of course, i know i'm lousy in that.

i need to sort out everything.
its too confusing.
My life's now in a mess.
Give me some time.

11:02 PM

Wednesday, May 14, 2008

YES!
I've passed my driving practical!
my first attempt. =]

Seriously i have no much confidence during the test.
the warm up lesson before the test was even more cock up.
My instructor was damn demoralising.

"你FAIL了啦. 你到底有没有看到‘STOP’ SIGN?"

“回家啦你!回家啦回家!我看你等一下扣分扣到很残"

“OI。你没有CHECK后面也没有SIGNAL RIGHT TURN. 八分飞掉了啦"

"我跟你讲每次要这样做你不听。等一下TEST的时候这样的话一定完蛋"

"FAIL LIAO LA! FAIL LIAO LA!"

-.-

During the test the rain gets bigger.
I cant understand why the past few days the weather was so warm and it purposely rain during my test day.
Mist and condensed droplets start to form on the side mirrors.
i opened the window and wiped the side mirror with my hand
examiner: "your hand can absorb water?"
me: "..."

the test was not as stressful as my warm up lesson
the examiner is far more encouraging than my instructor

My weekends are finally freed from driving lessons
No more early morning drive =]

14th May 2008.
i will remember this day.
a rainy one.

8:50 PM

Monday, May 5, 2008

thanks to kah hui, i'm considering going for lasik surgery.
wearing spec isnt a chore, but certain times it is a nuisance
usually during sports and water activites.

-you have to take off specs when u go for a haircut
-you cant wear normal sunglasses/shades while driving under the striking rays of the sun
-unless your goggles are those with degrees, most likely you cant see more than 10 metres while underwater, in addition that the visibilty level in the pool itself is greatly reduced due to increasing pollution by... illegal human excretion.
-the trouble of cleaning specs periodically
-the condensation of vapour on specs lens after coming out of an air conditioned area or during eating/drinking hot stuffs
-to hold the spec using at least one of your hands during para para sakura dance to make sure the specs wont fly out as you spin

i'm kiddin.

i dont tolerate placing plastic contact lens on my eyeball.
and so that left with lasik.

I like my current specs. Specs to me are like accessories.
But sometimes I look weird without specs. And this’s funny

My hair cells have been overly active
I have to cut my hair about every three weeks
Even the hairdresser was shocked to see me visiting their salon so frequently
Its all my hair cells fault
Actually it’s not.
I think it’s NS fault. They cant tolerate 1 cm longer and that’s why I’m forced again.

My time is just so packed
Driving lessons, swimming, cycling, movies all jammed up in the weekends.
But this is cool I enjoy my weekend life. lol

The world is not operating like what i thought it should be.

Who cares?

i've gone crazy.
today.

i will censor the cause of my indignation. because i've promised myself not to write any SHIT that occur during work.

.....................
........ .................. .................
..............."
$%^##$!@#$@*(!"........
...."(&&*$%$@#$%"......"
%$#$@#$!"...!!, and i was damn pissed off that i rapped vulgarities like singing R&B. At home was worse, mom has always said NS problems are minor. MINOR. I cant stand those who never serve NS and yet say NS problems are minor. Comment only if you serve. Those who need not serve please kindly shut up. Even if you have the intention to console/clear his anger by talking to him, i suggest, please, save your effort. Because any army matters mentioned or discussed after office hours will easily ignite the person.

And that i was so over infuriated and crazy just now as though i was possessed.

Morning: Constantly reminding myself to photocopy my passport for visa application once i reached home. he was raiding my workplace. giving unreasonable tasks and demands.

Afternoon: Anger level rose. Tomorrow's off day was cancelled. With a reason which i think was logically unacceptable.

Evening: Reached home. Mom saw my du-lan face. Challenged my tolerance. Flare up. BOOM

Just: Remembered to photocopy passport. So i went downstairs to the photocopy shop. But forgot to bring the passport along. Feeling even more du lan

10 mins ago: Took my passport and went out of house again. While waiting for lift i was wondering whether a photocopy of passport was a necessary document. Lift arrived but i press on to the lift button, staring at my passport with the question zooming in my head. Felt du lan x3

8mins ago : Went back home to check the visa application documents required. Photocopy not necessary.

7 mins ago : Declared temporary insane.

I've totally no idea what i'm doing. That feeling was dreadful. I was possessed.

i can sing high pitched songs!

title of song: "One Night in Beijing".

LOL.

went karaoke with colleagues on friday.
this is the only 2nd time that i stepped into karaoke lounge.
randomly chose a few jay chou songs, one of which is 霍元甲,and there's a part in 霍元甲which is high pitch.
and surprisingly i'm able to sing through the part, using my fake voice.

so py challenged me to "One Night in Beijing"

不想再问你,你到底在何方

不想再思量,你能否歸来吗。。。

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-E-qmtDPKk

watched the forbidden kingdom last saturday.
Nice sound system and graphics.
it's a hollywood movie... they have the budget.
but its damn weird to see that the immortals, chinese emperors and everyone in china speaking english

i've always like fast action-packed movies.
and i prefer asia's kungfu kings to western gun fighters

the excellent kungfu skills by jet li and jackie chan
together with elegance of the pipa melody by swordswoman liu yi fei

Perfect combi. lol

Singtel's services and employees are superb.

The technician sent by Singtel could not install the mio tv last saturday, and he promised to send another technician to solve the installation problem on the coming monday.

Today is another saturday. Which means the person he promised to send is 5 days late. (and counting)

And so my mom forced me to dial Singtel hotline to clarify the problem.

Time: 3.25pm. Dialled hotline. "thank you for dialling singtel hotline bla bla bla... for singtel broadband enquiries please press 1. For singtel mobile enquiries please press 2. For singtel bills enquiries please press 3. For $#%$##%$^%^&%$ please press 4. and 5. and 6."

After the welcome story i pressed 0 -- the option for other enquiries because i think speaking to the customer care officer would be a better choice.

i was wrong. -.-

"For %$#%$ enquiries, please press 1 and 2 and 3 and 4...."

i pressed for quite a bunch of numbers, listened to their phone advertising while waiting to be served.

Time : 3.35pm

Finally an officer picked up the phone. Explained everything to him. Then he played some call-waiting music and told me that he will direct me to the mio tv department, as he is under mobile department. i agreed.

More call-waiting music follows. With some Singtel advertising contents.

Time : 3.40pm

Mio tv department officer picked up phone. Explained everything to her again. Same thing, played some call waiting music as she checked the status of out mio tv installation in the Singtel database. and she picked up the phone again. Requested me to repeat the whole situation again, because she forgot everything while she was checking the status. I repeated myself.

And again the call-waiting music. I guessed she's trying to reward me for my wonderful story.

poom. The officer says this matter is out of her department control and gave me Singtel's techinician hotline number. 1800-555-6000.

Time : 3.50pm

Dialled the number.
"For #%$#%$#%$ press 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,....10000."
An operator answered. AND. Explained everything to him again. and they checked the status again, checked my name and whatever particulars. this time was even worse. they wanted me to repeat my story sentence by sentence because they're typing a report.

and conclusion: they will call me back. Time now :4.00pm

and after this i spent 10 minutes arguing with my mom because she thought that i was chatting on phone with some friends -.-

Time: 4.10pm

One technician called. AND WANTS ME TO REPEAT EVERYTHING AGAIN. and bla bla bla.
and bla bla.
bla.

bla until 4.20pm.

he then arranged another appointment for me.
Finally.

Hung up phone.

Time : 4.25pm.

whole process took 1 hour.
maybe going down to the customer care centre personally is even faster than dialling the Singtel's hotline.

Singtel's network is just too wide.....

How are you blog.
It has been quite some time since i squiggled on you.

I've to declare i'm real busy during march, with not more than six hours on any night for more than a month. And my busy schedule seems forever. There's more for me in the coming months.

No more days of enough rest. Sometimes i feel i'm worse than machines.

Lethargic.

I'd like to apologise to those last minute cancellations of meetings/gatherings during this period of time, i promise to pay back in some way or another. And to those whom i promised to meet but did not, i'm squeezing time. Please bear with me, i'm trying to stretch every second of my non-sleeping time.

I shall not mention my life in camp. It sucks.

However how busy i am, i managed to squeeze out some of the weekends to plan the itinerary of japan trip with lert and weeyang =] This is my first time planning itinerary with friends, and it's not easy. From booking of air tickets to sightseeing destinations, it requires massive research and infinite determination. Itinerary 70% completed. =D

Range firing yesterday!
Managed to clinch marksman.
wheeeeeee =]

automobiles need petrol to operate.
i need coffee to function. everyday.

Last day of Chinese New Year.
just had reunion steamboat with family again
damn full
10 million dollars draw toto today
lol

my CNY mood already ends 5 days ago.
this year new year isnt fun.
but i forsee the next year will be the best of all.
prediction will be most likely 100% accurate

but this year marks my 20 years of life
20 years - -;
too fast. its like i cant believe i turning 20+ soon.
i dont want my age to start with a digit 2
not prepared

over at my camp there's free airshow everyday
cause the black knights happened to fly past the camp compound
its just above the camp
very close to the camp buildings
and you can see the planes turn and swivel and whatever stunts

watched kungfu dunk with hongguan last week
ok that movie is crap
the movie is totally crazy and illogical
and all their scenes are expected scenes.
me and hongguan were like telling each other what will be the next scene as if we are both directors
and halfway through there's a couple who could not stand it anymore
dashed out of cinema somemore. lol

overall i think eric tsang is better than jay chou.
okay no offence to those jay chou's fans.
but really lar. lol

Junming's recently under 4D/toto craze

jm: "i won $20"
me: "!!"
jm: "but my bets are $25"
me: -.-

you gotta try harder jm. lol

sijin's a highly rare fossil. =D

Who says kids nowadays are getting worse in attitude?
Kids do possess moral values if they were imparted with the right values

Dressed in SAF army uniform, i was waiting for bus at the bus stop as usual this morning
didnt notice there were 2 school children around me, waiting for bus too
probably still in my dreams
they're about 7 to 8 years old
i know they're glancing towards my direction, but i didnt bother

they finally approached me after repeated glances
one of them opened and showed me his palm
on his palm there's one 5 cent, one 10 cents and one 1 dollar coins
his hand was shivering. Anxious.

me: "huh?"
boy: "i found these on the bus stop seat kor kor"
me: -looking at the coins, stunned for a moment- "oh then you keep it lo"
boy: "thank you kor kor"
me: "gong xi fa cai"
boy: "?!"

they walked away happily, with a wide grin on their faces
$1.15 might be just a small amount to us
but for school kids like them (where most schoolkids faces shortage of pocket money)
$1.15 certainly means alot to them

this small sum shall serve as a reward to them for their honesty

Life everyday is so hectic and rush
I cant even find time to think and plan about my future.
rest is never enough; entertainment/leisure time is insignificant

I need a life.

Monday, February 4, 2008

hello february =]
i know it's been quite some time since i blogged.
not lazy, i'm really damn busy.
okay lar... i got a habit of giving excuses =]
but really. busy.
lol

few days back i played my dizi
i know thats shocking
cos i was damn tempted by the chinese instrumental CD songs played in shopping malls lol
dug out my dizi bag in storeroom, only to find it's full of dust.
one blow i can see the whole lot of dust coming out of the holes.
the di mo was still nicely sticked there since 2006 lol =\

dug out the CNY songs scores also.
woah.
i was playing what i had been practising in sec one
it's quite fun to know how to play at least one musical instrument.
self entertain during festive seasons. lol
but i still prefer sports to musical instruments =]

i need di mo.
the funny thing is i dunno where to get one after playing 6 years of dizi.
hmmmm

i admire women shopping stamina
shopping marathon, thats what they called.
shopping from late morning to nighttime, 1 shot can be even more than 8 hours non stop.
Non stop please.
with high heels somemore.
must applaud them.
nvm nowadays women have increasing capabilities
i'm acknowledging them lol

i need more sleep.
in camp i was so tired and sleepy to the extent that i promised myself i will sleep earlier that night.
however whenever i reach home i always convince myself that there's no need to sleep early, after all i can overcome the tiredness in camp.
and this cycle carries on.
till now ._.

nevermind i will take it as a training for the CNY period.
dont think will sleep much.
to achieve maximum enjoyment. lol

got to go.
have some major planning work to do.

peas out

i didnt sleep yesterday

i was practically lying on the bed with my eyelids closed for one whole night
enjoying the cold weather

at 2am i opened my eyes cos i found it tiring to close my eyes for so long =x
sucks.. its only 2am.
did some push-ups and carried weights in the dark, hoping to make myself more tired
apparently it got worse.
i was challenging to myself to more push-ups when i complete one set.
-.-

the cause for last night insomnia --- Paragon's The Coffee Bean.
ordered "the ultimate" ice blended.
Really, its the ultimate.
making me go crazy in the middle of the night

In camp today was hell, without sufficient sleep last night.
felt like as if a walking body without a soul.
like floating around in camp. lol

Havent buy any clothes for CNY yet but bought some accessories though
one of which--- my long waited panasonic in ear isolation earphones =]

got this from ripcurl. to replace the one that my mom dumped -.-

Happy belated birthday Sijin =]
dont watch too much NC 16 movies okay.
All the best for you in 2008 :)

dont try to sneak into M18 movies ah~

9:33 PM

Friday, January 18, 2008

okay my mom threw away my slippers without informing me.
her reason: its slippery when raining.
-.-
i just bought that from topman less than half a year ago -.-
now no more casual footwear for me
i have to wear my mom's market slippers to supermart lol =\

my hotmail has 1023 unread emails now.
finally, it has overshot the 1000 mark.
this was accumulated since 05/10/2006 lol

i cant wait for chinese new year to arrive.
the CNY atmosphere. the songs. the lion dance. the food. the activites.
the angbaos.
=]

"what is the difference between a smart guy and a wise guy? A smart guy knows how to get out of an extremely difficult situation. A wise guy knows how not to get into that difficult situation."

Be wise. Not smart.

its time to change.
its time to change my life.

for over 19 years i have that stagnant feeling.
i feel no improvement in the quality of my life.
i need to change everything.
i must.

i know life's unfair.
i dont want to know the reason behind it.
no point asking around why.
i dont think even God can give me a satisfying answer.
i dont want to waste my time to understand and force myself to accept that stupid fact.
all i want is to make it better.
through my ability and capability.
must.
thats enough.

they have already reached their limit.
its time for me to step out and help myself and walk out of this circle.
i need to act fast.
the more i drag, the more i suffer.

i will have alot of oncoming obstacles.
i have to overcome all barriers.
i may have to go against their wishes/thinkings.
they'll understand one day when i succeed.

and please, no part of this post relates to NS.

11th january.
exactly one year ago this day was the start of disaster.
i still remember that fateful day so clearly.
Time---2.30pm.
boarding the bus from pasir ris interchange, heading towards tekong chalet.

i had completed exactly one year.
One year full of highs and lows.
One year of mental torture.

today is the 365th day.
10 more months to go.
exactly 10 more.
argh ._.

junming and i had agreed to meet up on the day of our ORD.
we went through same jc, same jc class, same tekong company, same platoon, same section, and his bed was just beside mine in bunk.
of course, must ORD together.
enlist together, ORD together. lol

there's 4E2 class gathering on 05/01/08
22 pple turned up i think, including mdm goh.
thats about half the class
it was fun to see them again.

although i must admit i didnt involve too much in class activites during my ngee ann days, being with them was much much better than my jc days.
nothing is better than those 4 years in ngee ann.

anyway i must credit mdm goh.
she still remembers my class register number.
26. =]
even i myself couldn't remember. lol
it has been 3 years.
._.

anyway what i'm shocked is that my sec 4 maths teacher married my sec 4 social studies teacher.
Mr Albert Lim and Ms Alicia Goh.
Double A.
lol
damn shocking, never thought that they will be together.
but still, wishing them all the best. lol

The 4E2 pple

the 4E2 guys

woots. say cheese to mdm goh

oops. lol sorry lar =]

2008.
woots.

overall 2007 isnt a very good year for me.
or i can say, the worst year so far.

even the last meal for 2007 is screwed up.
went to a taiwanese restuarant located bugis junction, recommended by a friend.
recommended by channel u also -.-
i think next time needa seriously consider accepting any recommendations.

we ordered curry chicken
and they just took 2 packets out from the fridge and recook again.
and we're just wondering how long those packets had been inside the fridge.

after that went for countdown at marina bay.
fireworks are nice of course.
people there arent.

for those never go countdown yesterday, just for your info.
YOU'RE DAMN LUCKY.

In Singapore we quite fortunate to have loads of foreign workers helping us occupying job spaces that Singaporeans deemed themselves as over qualified.
they are good people, i know.
they are here to help Singapore in building and strengthening economy, i know.
they mean no harm, i know.
but its the way they celebrate, quite different from singaporeans.

here's how its different.
Singaporeans scream and cheer, they scream too.
but they make sure they scream into your ears to the extent you have to stare at him.

Singaporeans do complain because of the packed crowds, they complained too.
when crowds get stuck and jammed, they will scream again.
its like they love crowds

when Singaporeans do something wrongly, most of them will apologise.
i guess this the result of a highly educated country.
even those who dont apologise will feel ashamed when being told.
yesterday one of them spout sprite out of his mouth and yet they are laughing all the way.
maybe they're just too happy to welcome 2008.
maybe.

anyway its good that 2008 is here.
the year of 366 days.
the year of.............regaining freedom.

my first driving lesson today =]
my learning car --- nissan sunny -.-
my instructor is quite easy-going and compassionate.
but talkative. LOL

okay lar i understand why he needs to talk so much.
being a instructor sitting beside your student watching the car goes round and round in circles for 1.5 hours can be quite tiring.
not only him.... i myself was yawning as i kept on turning and turning in circles around the carpark.

drowsy.

no wonder my dad says those who drive straight roads for long distances (expressways) are prior to accidents

my instructor : "very sian hor?"
me : "yeah"
my instructor : " come let's listen to music ^^"

and he blasted his radio hi fi set. lol.
cool.
driving with music on is nice =]

IN SUSPENSE.

9:55 PM

Saturday, December 15, 2007

i guess i have been ignoring to my surrondings around me
i didnt even know that there's a newly opened pizza hut near my house
and i was called a kuku when i didnt know that there's munchy donuts and botak jones in bedok central lol

today marks a new history.
its the first time me weeyang and lert went to watch a movie together even though we know each other for almost 7 years
The Warlords.
totally awesome

accompanied lert to taka to buy his christmas toy.
everything in taka flushed back my memories.
the christmas song, the taka square counters, the toys fair, the colleagues, the performances, the atmosphere, the crowds

i really miss working in taka
working there is almost equivalent as having fun
no stress, enjoyable colleagues, funny superiors
you dont feel like you're working at all. lol

anyway i've booked my practical driving test yesterday.
test date---14th may.
FIVE freaking months
-.-

tokyo trip next year! =]
with lert and weeyang
cant wait mann... must go more overseas outing
woots

Day 8

Goodbye Shanghai. lol

Shanghai Pudong International Airport Departure Hall

over in china i took some pics which i think are worth mentioning.
things that you will never see in singapore

sweater covers are attached to motorbikes handgear

security guard watching a scofflaw selling pirated dvds outside a shopping mall

真功夫. Taiwanese based fast food restaurant, selling steamed dishes.

posters advertising dog steamboat

so rustic. this is World Telephone OK!!!

selling fruits on a mini lorry, bracing the cold strong wind

Toilet = comfort station!

two aunties playing badminton on a ROADSIDE at 7am

a teenager with a poster begging car drivers for money on a road

overall i must conclude this trip to shanghai/jiangnan was a memorable one.
Damn damn fun.
8 days are obviously not enough lar......

11:58 PM

Day 7

okay this day by right it should be a free and easy day for us.
but we chose optional guided tour since we dunno where to go.

anyway in the morning when i opened the curtains of my hotel room i realised there's actually a school directly behind my hotel.

they were doing morning exercise.

one thing i noticed was everyone was doing exercise seriously.
i was trying to spot anyone slacking but i cant see one.

very different from Singapore schools. lol

in the morning went kampong shopping.
lol
the coach brought us to some not-so-developed part of shanghai and gave us 2hours free time.
bought some souvenirs.

street wet market

jade pendants

shui jiao

smelly toufu. cheap. but nobody buys lol. too smelly lar -.-

okay this stall sells all pigs stuffs =/

this one all ducks

souvenir street

went Raffles City after that.
yup, Raffles City.

in Shanghai there's Raffles City built by Singapore's very own Capitaland.
everything inside the shopping mall looks the same as the Singapore's version.

Even the design of the toilets are the same

Proceed on the Huaihai Road(淮海路)
Shanghai's Orchard Road.
We are recommended to shop in HongKong Plaza.
Anyway HongKong Plaza was built by Li Ka-Shing, Hongkong's billionaire
it's something like Singapore's Suntec City

Hong Kong Plaza

The crowds in Huaihai Road are prevalent.

At every point of road junction you can see crowds waiting to cross the roads.

Over there traffic lights are useless; there's a traffic police at every road junction controlling traffic

now you see the traffic police

now you don't.

went back to hotel at 7pm.
we had to pack luggage back to Singapore.

but then we realised we are short of luggage, so we made our way down to shops nearby to buy luggage.

just as my mom enquired about the price of a particular luggage, a pedestrian passed by the shop and saw us speaking mandarin to the shop owner.

i think he heard our mandarin slang was different from theirs, so he sang:

"全世界都在讲中国话,我们说的话, 让世界都认真听话。。"

S.H.E's 中国话.
-.-

that was my last night in Shanghai.
=(

11:53 PM

Day 6

morning call for that day was 7.45am.
latest among the 8 days. =]

went to Song Qingling Mausoleum in the morning.
Song Qingling was the wife of Sun Yat-sen.

Visited the mausoleum, knew more about her history.
the place where she was buried is believed to be the best fengshui location in shanghai.

in the noon visited shanghai's famous medical hall, 同仁堂.
had my feet massaged.

had dinner in the medical hall restaurant too.
dishes served were mostly medically brewed.
sumptuous.

at night cruised huangpu river to experience the view of the whole shanghai city life.
this was even more spectacular than viewing from the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.

simply breathtaking

pics taken on this ferry cruise are nothing compared to experiencing it personally.

i wished i can hire that ferry for the whole night.

the nights of shanghai are simply magnificient

11:03 PM

Day 5

okay 5th day in china.
last 3 days.
argh =(

that morning went to Wuxi's pearls processing company.
Another ladies' heaven.

poor us. my dad, brother and i were left stranded on the seats looking at all those aunties and ladies rushing for pearls.

pearl necklaces, pearl rings, pearl powder, pearl creams....
you name it.
my mom gotta have them all

after all the pearl stuffs we headed to Li Garden (蠡园).
By then my brain was already blocking off all the gardens and lakes.

i couldnt remember the special stuffs about Li Garden =/

Visited Wuxi's zisha clay teapots museum.
i thought it was gonna be a boring one, but i was wrong.
the host in the museum performed and explained the tactics and skills of pouring tea, using their teapots.
interesting and entertaining.

lunched in a restaurant inside Wuxi's sports stadium.
a 5 star restaurant serving wuxi's famous dishes.

headed all the way back to Shanghai.

1st stop in Shanghai--- Madame Tussauds' Wax Museum.

David and Victoria Beckhams

hello albert einstein

Welcome to Shanghai, Clinton

Coco lee

Aaron kwok

Chen HuiLing

go away lar beckham. dont block my way

shuai ge. Gu Tian Le

dont come near us. Warning-- Bruce Lee

my dad was trying to challenge ronaldo to a fight

you should hit the ball this way lar tiger woods

okay this jay chou looks like a kid

Twins

Nicholas Tse
Diana

Vicky Zhao Wei

Andy Lau

Ascended Oriental Pearl TV Tower after dinner.

shanghai's tallest viewing tower currently, where you can enjoy shanghai's beautiful modern city in the night.

stopped by Xin Tian Di(新天地). Shanghai's version of Clarke Quay.

nothing much to see. mostly bars and restaurants.

more for business people who are relaxing and discussing work/projects

Nanjing Lu.(南京路)
Shanghai's most famous shopping street.
Brightly lit in the night.
whole street is stunningly spectacular
ended the day at 11pm.
the nighttime was simply not enough

8:09 PM

Day 4

FOUR freaking degrees Celsius this morning
can breathe out vapour while exhaling.

Visited ChangJiang bridge (长江大桥).
it's the longest bridge in the world that can transport both vehicles and trains in the same bridge.

went all the way to the top of the bridge, caught a magnificent view of the whole bridge and the area around it

the changjiang bridge. it's misty in the morning

3rd level is for vehicles. 2nd level is for trains. 4th level is where i am standing taking this photo

inside one of the bridge pillars there's a shui jing(水晶) museum.

it was opened by some kind guy(forgot his name - -;) who donates all his profits of 水晶 artworks to the fund the daily operation of this bridge.

i forgot his name but i got his picture. lol

one of his masterpiece

Sightsee Mochou Lake (莫愁湖) thereafter.

its just a simple lake, nothing much to see except that there's one lady in the past jumped into this lake in order to avoid the emperor.

A rumour somemore.
-.-

okay whatever it is, i didnt know why are we touring this lake.
i am quite sick of lakes lol

Visited Nanjing's jade carvings workshop/museum.
not a very suitable place for me. lol
its just another place for ladies to spend their money.

mom took 1 whole hour to choose a jade ring.
i slacked around, talking to my tour lead.
thats when i found out he lives in bedok too. lol

Lunched in a restaurant inside the jade carving museum.

Proceed on to Wuxi (无锡)
2hrs journey from Nanjing.
Reached Wuxi at around 3pm.

Toured Three-Kingdom Movie & TV City(三国城).
that's the place where all the dramas are filmed.
三国演义,還珠格格,扒仙过海 were some of the dramas that were filmed here.

Dined in a restaurant beside Taihu Lake (太湖)
TaiHu is the biggest lake in china, in the meantime, shallowest.

Wuxi's dishes are mostly sweet.
because according to my tour guide he said pple in wuxi would rather put more sugar than salt,
and he said the better their mood, the more sugar they put. -.-

Tasted wuxi's famous Wuxi pork ribs and Taihu's hairy crabs.
A very good meal especially after Nanjing's dinner nightmare.

after dinner was again shopping.
As the coach approaches Wuxi's central, i was in awe.
the whole wuxi's central is like orchard road.
no kidding.
everywhere are shopping centres and entertainment area.

so i separated myself from the tour group and waited for yujing at parkson shopping centre entrance.
i've appointed her as my Wuxi personal tour guide =]

she brought me to a famous restaurant (forgot the restaurant name =/)
tasted delicious big prawn wantons and xiaolongbao.

yujing forced me to devour all the 10 wantons when i was already damn full -.-

accompanied her to bookstore.
over there the bookstore was entire whole building.
damn big.

decided to go starbucks to have coffee, but passed by mario wonderworld.
lol it's an arcade. underground arcade.
1 token is only renmingbi 50 cents, so we spent the whole night there playing =/

10pm went back to Parkson to meet yujing's mom.
they sent me back to my hotel, which is just located beside Wuxi's railway station.
1st time i took china's public bus transport.

it's a flat fare of two renmingbi per ride, regardless of ride distance.
quite comfortable and clean, and the public buses have tv mobile too. lol

slept at 12 midnight. Worn out. Heading back to Shanghai next day =D

4:39 PM

Day 3
took a cruise around xihu lake on xihu ferry.
30 minutes ride, its quite boring actually.
but get to enjoy morning cool air =]

after that continue to Meijiawu Tea Village (梅家坞)
purpose was to understand Hangzhou's tea culture.
parents bought a box of tea leaves, after the sales person vomit out all the advantages of drinking their tea.
anyway the tea leaves is called LongJing Tea leaves. lol

the longjing tea leaves plantation

drying the tea leaves

my cup of tea. lol

proceed to Nanjing. (南京)
from Hangzhou to Nanjing took around 4 hrs by coach.
Boring.
Slept throughout the whole afternoon in coach on the way to nanjing.

reached nanjing was already 5pm.
settled down for dinner, but the dishes served sucks.

Nanjing's dishes are salty, oily, soury, hot, and smelly.
Lol yeah. smelly is the word.
cos one of the dishes is smelly toufu (臭豆腐) -.-

we didnt eat much during this dinner.
almost all of the dishes served were inedible =/
sitting inside the coach for 1 whole afternoon doesnt make me feel hungry anyway

after that our tour guide led us to nanjing's red light district.
nanjing's version of geylang. lol - -;

the things there are cheap.
we're given 2 hours of free time to tour around the area.
i can see my mom's eyes lighting up again. lol
shopped and hopped around the shops, bought some apparels and footwears.

Headed to hotel after the free time, had to tour nanjing the next morning.

3:48 PM

Day 2

the morning call came punctually at 6am. i answered, but never bother to wake up.
6.30am my mom came banging on my room and pulled me out of bed.

siao lar. on holiday still must wake up same time as NS. -.-

after breakfast headed straight to suzhou's silk factory.
knew how to make silk, mom learnt how to buy silk.
grabbed silk pillows, silk mattress covers, silk blankets, silk pillow covers, and she headed for payment.

crazy shit.
total Renminbi 5750.00

i was speechless when i saw the receipt.
it's only the 2nd day

after this headed to Wuzhen.(乌镇)

its a kampong village but the government carved out the area as tourist attraction. there's still pple living inside the kampong

toured around the area all the way in, then took this sampan out back to the main entrance

From there coached all the way to Hangzhou(杭州).

Visited Wansong Academy(万松书院), the institution where Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai studied.

right at the top of wansong academy is kongzi palace. prayed for good results, for university education of course

proceeded to Xihu(西湖), and enjoyed the view of the whole lake. Nice scenery.
Xihu is considered the most beautiful lake in China.

i like this photo. pacifistic

After dinner watched a cultural play in Hangzhou's Dongpo Theatre.(杭州东坡大剧院)
Wonderful show.
the threatre's facilities are even better than singapore's esplanade, they have rotating stage with water fountain from the ceiling--- all inside a auditorium theatre.

SA tours is good... they reserved VIP seats for us. lol

Hangzhou and Suzhou are very modernised. it's far more developed than i expected.
the neon lights decorated buildings light up the whole city, with entertainment flooding everywhere in the streets.

but i cant get to enjoy the nightlife.. cos the next day morning call : 5.45am.
crazy

1:07 PM

finally back here.
many pple have asked how's my overseas trip, so let me discuss my 8 days itinerary.
Splendid.

Day 1

reached shanghai pudong international airport at around 7.30am.

didnt sleep well on plane.

and the breakfast served on board was nonsense.

shanghai pudong airport arrival hall

temperature was 11 degrees.
the tiredness of the flight was blown away by the cool breeze.
totally refreshing.
took Maglev Train from pudong airport to luoyang station
Currently the world's fastest train, max speed 430km/h
whole journey was only 8 minutes
i did record a video of the journey ride, but the stupid blogger dont allow me to upload it. lol nvm

proceed to chenghuangmiao (城隍庙).
it's a shopping commercial district, not a temple lol.
to me its something like shanghai's version of bugis

i saw on tv alot of actors ate this in dramas. so i bought one and tried. yucks

okay they have barbequed cuttlefish, duck and chicken wings, and some other creatures.

damn salty

coached to Suzhou(苏州).

visited Hanshan temple(寒山寺) and Ouyuan(藕园).

Ouyuan was also a fliming scene for "還珠格格", where the 2 princess enjoyed playing in the garden. okay my tour guide says one. lol

Hanshan Temple

Although there's no time difference between shanghai/jiangnan and singapore, the sun sets around 5pm. by 6pm it's already completely dark.

these pics were taken at 6pm. Suzhou's famous shopping street, Guanqian Street (观前步行街).

1st day was totally burned out.

and because my eyes are not immune to long hours of dry cold air, the dryness reddened my eyes with unconstrained tearing. - -;

on the coach back to hotel, tour guide:"goodnight everyone. tomorrow's morning call, 6am =]"

omg -.-

2 more hours and i will be leaving for changi airport to shanghai
the flight is after midnight but now i was already feeling damn tired
argh. i need coffee. lol

i hate packing luggages
especially for the shanghai's winter period.
i pack 2 days (since yesterday) and my mom keeps on adding stuffs in.
my luggage rose from 10kg to 14kg -.-

will be back in 8 days time. =]
byebye Singapore

Tuesday, November 13, 2007

yesterday just came back from malaysia.
didnt have enough sleep during the weekends,
played too much. lol

i was appointed the photographer for the whole wedding preparation and ceremony.
the bride personally chose me one k.(as the photograher, of course)
she actually gave me such an important role
i do play a big part in her wedding =]

make-up session. its only 6.30am -.-

make-up completed. the bride and the photographer.

ok this is crazy.

my cousin use this metal chain and locked up the main gate while waiting for the bridegroom -.-

"OPEN THE DOOR AND GIVE ME MY BRIDE DONT TEST MY PATIENCE"

the wedding car

i was trying to shoot the pic of the couple inside. this is wad i got. lol

and my cousin pulled me to a hairstylist to style my hair.
guess what. the hairstylist used white spray on my hair without informing me beforehand.
cool

even my cousin's son styled his hair. Mini Beckham

my youngest cousin. naughty lar he. lol

the wine of love

All the best to my cousin(the bride) =]

she had chosen the right photographer to capture her best memories lol kiddin

And they live happily ever after~

9:24 PM

Friday, November 9, 2007

oh yar i'm leaving for malaysia tomorrow.
attending cousin's wedding.

had been searching for my passport for the past 2 hours
i got a feeling my mom had locked it up in her drawer.
but she had left for malaysia this morning.
die la -.-

will be back on monday. =)

10:46 PM

ok this post is dedicated to chuiying.

PUBLIC APOLOGY

I, Ling Wei Chang, hereby sincerely apologise to Yvonne Chan Chuiying for the damage of her reputation from my post on 28th October 2007.

"and chuiying forced me to memorise her contact.
cos i didnt get it right when she questioned me a few mins after telling me her contact. =/
and she began to question the same old question every now and then"

the word "forced" is misused in this text.
i'm deeply sorry for the mistake and hereby seek your forgiveness.

"demanded and pressurized" should be the more appropriate words.

lol ok kiddin.

i memorise her contact willingly and graciously~
100%.

one thing i like about my camp is the great view of airplanes flying directly above my camp, away or to the changi airport.
Another, is the distance. its the shortest distance camp within my house range, i know.

yup, thats all.

The rest--- i dont like abit. everything there is screwed up.
EVERYTHING.

i just cant understand why we are doing all those nonsense stuffs.
he's just wasting labour, manpower, and making pple think that he is a no brainer.
day by day he keeps on adding these nonsense.
day by day he is giving pple punishments.
those who are punished are those who never follow his nonsense.

ok nvm. enough of that.

Last saturday
went imaging expo with lert and weeyang at suntec.
registration is needed, so we make our way to register at the counters at level one.
visitors passes were issued, and these are the passes we received:

Tan Ler Tong's name appeared as Tan Lee Tong.

Peh Wee Yang's name appeared as Poh Wee Yong.

Mine's correct because i spelt out my name alphabet by alphabet to the staff. Apparently the forms that they asked us to fill in our particulars are redundant. lol

and bought sony camera at sim lim. like finally
weeyang's gonna kill me if i'm not buying. lol

last sunday

went nora's house.

she said it was a housewarming gathering, but later on she changed to "open house" party. In the end when we reached her house it was hari raya celebration party - -;

Dined in her house, tasted scrumptious malay traditional food.

not long after, nora's relatives arrived for the celebration. her male cousin (should be her cousin =x) was so polite that he started paying his greetings upon reaching her house. he took kah hui's hand and kissed it (malay's greeting tradition) when kah hui was talking to me hahah. you should see kah hui's face. totally shocked

this was the 1st time i celebrated hari raya. lol

green packet =]

we're analysing the photo. trying to look professional =/

Cybershot

on half day off tomorrow. Full day off on wed.

BUT

have to go army museum on wed morning

WA LAO WHAY -.-

(see, total nonsense.)

Thursday, November 1, 2007

its november.
its gonna be a fast month for me i guess.
Damn fast.
the faster the better lol

today i finally experience the power of tear gas
the feeling was like pumping smoke into your nostrils and eyes and pouring acidic vapour on your skin
everyone's tears start to flow automatically, some even have mucus and saliva washing their faces
felt like a smoked pepper chicken

Haniff is ORD-ing in 10 days time.
10 days.
and he is reminding everyone in the guardroom every 2 hours -.-
nevertheless he's a fun colleague to be with
we crapped 90% of our time and complained the other 10%. lol

i just cant wait for the day to come

10:10 PM

Sunday, October 28, 2007

went fishing today.
caught some seaweed and plastic bags.
couldnt catch any fish although we could actually see fishes swimming around nearby -.-
got burnt by the sun in the end lol

anyway vincent ng(weng qing hai) is once in the guards formation.
knew this when he came to bedok camp to prepare for 2008's NDP on thurs.
David purposely ask for all his personal info before letting him book in. Now we know his address, handphone number, car plate, ic everything
He said he is just performing his job as a RP. we didnt see him so alert when he is serving other civilians -.-

Time is passing reasonably fast during this period.
Kah hui speeds up the time even more as he always countdown to mondays during weekends.
crapping together with him helps to distress our army workload. lol

and chuiying forced me to memorise her contact.
cos i didnt get it right when she questioned me a few mins after telling me her contact. =/
and she began to question the same old question every now and then

swimming tomorrow afternoon. gonna burn by the sun again.

Relax, take it easy
For there is nothing that we can do.
Relax, take it easy
Blame it on me or blame it on you.

i lost my handphone.
1st time in my life i lost my handphone.
but -- the feeling is different. today i feel very restless, even when i knew that my handphone is missing, i still asked myself whether i was in a dream lol =x

i have a habit of resting my legs on the back of bus seats, it must have slipped out of my pocket.

on my right pocket was my handphone, on my left was my ipod. luckily my ipod didnt slip out too, otherwise i will go bonkers.

ok so when i reported this unfortunate incident to my mom, she began her investigation(as usual). Her investigation = nagging. And she began to bring out past cases of me losing wallets. Together with these past mistakes, she will increase her volume and harshness as she investigates further. And when everything's finished, data will be stored and will be used again as future reference. She sentenced me a $300 fine--- payable to M1.

And my mom said she's gonna buy another handbag for her to keep all our passports when we're in shanghai, when she knows i lost my handphone. overreacting again -.-

On off tomorrow. Mid-week break.

8:16 PM

Saturday, October 20, 2007

i think there's something wrong with me.
everyday when the time past 9pm, i will feel drowsy.
By 10pm, my eyelids are almost three quarters closed.

EVEN ON WEEKENDS.

And, i always wake up before 8am.

i know these are the optimal sleeping time, but it has cost me to miss those tv programmes after 10pm.

ok. more straightforward to the point.
i think i had not watch channel U's "the Guess show" for 2 months at least.
Heck, gonna watch it today no matter what. lol

initially today planned to go block 85 to have dinner with wy and lert. Last min cancelled, so went cycling with jiawen.

the lonely cycling path.

my throat is getting worse. totally no voice now. ahhhhhh

my mom forced me to wake up at 7.30am today. -.- cabbed to the empty land beside eunos mrt, which is now the stand-in site for the geylang serai temple.

Prayed. And cried. No kidding, the smoke from thousands of joss sticks there makes my tears flow like crazy. =/

after that went bedok stadium to jog with weeyang and lert. but the weather was not nice for us to jog today. almost melted - -;

at lertong's house just now tried the Okonomiyaki(Japanese Pizza). Damn nice. Dunno why, every mouth of it makes me wanna go japan even more. By the way the Okonomiyaki that i tried was prepared by lertong's mom. Kudos to her. lol

this weekend is tiring. Deprived of sleep.

Suffering from sore throat and mild flu. but still managed to force myself out to sim lim with my family just now. helped to pick a lcd screen monitor for my brother, which is supposed to replace his old monitor. And yeah, its a LG lcd. lol

buying products that i once used to promote feels weird. especially when i had been promoting LG lcds monitors for 2 years. In the past (when i was still a salesman for LG) i tried to stand in customers' shoes, asking myself what exactly does they think and want so that i could speak in favour to them, along with their minds to "entice" them the products that i am promoting. Today's feeling was weird, i was actually asking myself what type of monitor suits my brother best. it feels like promoting and selling the product to myself.

my colleague: "hey.. wadcha doing here?!"

me: -staring at the variety of lcds- "wondering which lcd is good."

my colleague : "you know best. ask yourself."

me : "-.-"

what a way to promote products. not bad.

And i'm still wondering which lcd is really good. =/

Thursday, October 11, 2007

today was sort of chaotic for me.
yesterday was 24hrs guard duty, didnt have enough sleep (of course), didnt have breakfast this morning and i almost forgot about my lunch.

2hrs of sleep + no breakfast + no lunch + hot weather makes feel so sleepy and tired that i was practically walking with my eyes half closed from the camp to the bus terminal when i book out in the afternoon.

AND TOMORROW IS ANOTHER 24HRS GUARD DUTY -.-
this week gonna be zombie.

on the bus way back home passed by bedok south sec bus stop. usually this bus stop seems isolated to me, but today saw flocks of students rushing up the bus. 95% of the bus passengers are students -.- and students laughing and jumping around inside the bus.

it just remind me of my school days.

going home at 1.30pm after school (except CCA days -.-), playing soccer in school till the school servant chase us out, trying to complete homework that owed teachers for months, practising dizi cause teacher in charge force me to, going tampines mart for lunch when fell sick of canteen's food, studying with friends after school but usually ends up in the soccer field, thinking of reasons to explain to form teachers when late for school, last minute rushing through notes and textbooks on the day of test/exam, saturday going back school for CO........

Those are the days.

(if you notice, the amount of time i spent on entertainment during school days is more than 99%. or can say, 100%. thats why school days are fun! =/)

my ipod is going crazy. it will auto switch on even when i had already put it to "lock" mode -.-

Give me something to believe in
Cause I don't believe in you
Anymore, Anymore
I wonder if it even makes a difference to try
So this is goodbye

Makes Me Wonder. Hmmmm

Date Today.

08/10/2007

Time Now.

2123hrs

A new experience. A new start.

Allow me some time for the blogging momentum.

Don't laugh---i had never believe in blogs, because i always think i got better things to do. Till today, i realised otherwise.

Reading blogs makes me picture one's life all the while. Picture mine, if you can.

Let's Feel the Shock.
